Air New Zealand Air Points - PNR linking my flight to Hong Kong with my NZ flight

Is it possible to link the PNR of my flight to Hong Kong with my NZ flight. I am looking to get the baggage allowance of my NZ flight. I am willing to book the flight with any airline that would allow this. So if it has to be one that code shares with NZ that is fine.

Yeah I'm stingy... I want my three suitcases and not to pay for them. :D

NZ usually won't through check your bags in on separate tickets unless you are an elite Airpoints member. If on the same ticket then MSC rules apply.

If on separate tickets, I think you will get the allowance of the first carrier. You will be lucky to be able to through check in.
