Most cruise lines will have a shuttle that is easily found. No luggage hasles. The cruiseline shuttles are the absolute worst option! Usually the most expensive option & you will still have luggage hassles in many cases. Before I got smart, I took the cruiseline shuttles all the time. After baggage claim, they frequently drag you all over the airport getting to the bus - with you dragging your luggage along with you. They don't help you get your bags to the bus at the airport. Yes, you don't have to deal with it at the pier - but with a cab you don't either. The porters greet you right at the cab and take the luggage from the trunk for you. Also, the cruiseline shuttles usually wait until they are completely full before they head to the pier. So even though you are ready to get your vacation started, if the bus isn't full, you sit waiting at the airport while others are hopping into cabs and getting to the pier well ahead of you (can really matter if there are delays at the pier and the lines to check in get backed up - the earlier you arrive, the farther forward in line you are). More than once I sat at the airport for over an hour waiting to depart for the pier. |
