Two separate bookings, one LHR-BRU and the second is BRU-JFK and wondering whether I would have an issue? (connection is a little short to collect luggage and check in again...).

But bear in mind that you're always taking a risk when you book tight connections on separate tickets. Should your incoming flight be delayed, you've just thrown away your second ticket (the airline is not obliged to do anything for you should you miss the transatlantic sector). clubman Apr 18, 12, 8:25 am If both flights are on SN, and if the connection time meets the minimum connection time for BRU (which, assuming you're on the 6.50am service from LHR and the 10:20 service from BRU, is allowed as this combination is offered for sale on the Brussels Airlines website)Thanks and yes you were spot on re the flights I'm talking about! Should your incoming flight be delayed, you've just thrown away your second ticket Yes I know it's a risk and only reason I did it was to save close to £500 worth of taxes on 3 tickets, so fingers crossed... |
