Hyatt Gold Passport - C48APR - 4/17-18/2012 - Another 48 hour sale

Hi all. I'm a first time poster and new user to FT to please forgive me if my post is in the wrong place or I otherwise accidently do something "wrong".

I am curious if anyone can tell me how one would become aware of Hyatt's 48hour sales. I came across the promotion C48APR - valid for booking from 17 Apr - 18 Apr at 11:59pm for this month- purely by accident. I am a GP member but have never received notice of any types of sales. Also, how Phoenix/Gilbert.

Generally speaking we find out about those codes via facebook posts or twitter feeds. Many of the individual properties announce there is a sale coming up. Someone usually posts it here.

I don't think i've ever received an email announcing the sale. If you found the code when trying to make a reservation, sometimes they only announcing it within the booking pages.

But it usually makes it's way here.

Just note that the rates for the 48 hour sale (no-cancellation) aren't always that great, at times they are no different from the advance purchase rates (no cancellation) or AA discounted rate (cancellation allowed)

It sometimes pays to shop. :)

There isn't a link. The code is in the title of the post as well as in the first post. It's an offer code.

Keep in mind that these rates are often prepaid and not much less than a AAA rate, that isn't prepaid.

I haven't found a list of participating hotels. I don't think it is very widespread. Appears to be a 15% discount. Not very exciting. I poked around the Special Offers page and found the offer at the Hyatt in Green Bay.

The below link seems to be working for all 48h sales. At least it has so for last couple or three of these promotions. I have it in my favourites and check it once in a while for a new 48h sale as they do seem to occur quite frequently.
