Other Asian, Australian and South Pacific Frequent Flyer Programs - Booking Phuket-BKK on Orient Thai? advice

have to fly into BKK from a Phuket wedding in a few months. . 4-6 of us (im paying for em all) and i dont want to spend an arm and a leg.

Orient Thai at this point has a reasonable fare compared to the other carriers? is it advisable to go ahead and book with them or should i pay more with an Air Asia or Thai Airways?

I've flown bangkok airways and nok air. Both are local discount airlines maybe 1500 baht on average one way.

jiejie has been on record in other threads railing against many aspects of OX's existence apparently based upon info gathered from (former?) employees.

I would prefer to fly PG, TG, DD (in that order) and steer clear of OX. Nothing concrete I can delve into, I just don't trust them after the HKT debacle a few years back.

Fly Orient and do a trip report. I can't find a single one.
