LAN LANPASS - Another LAN question...

Can we carry-on liquids greater than 3oz on domestic flights within Ecuador (GYE -> GPS)? The LAN web site makes it sound like we can, but it's unclear. I spoke with one of their reps in Miami and she said "no", but I thought perhaps she just doesn't really know. Anyone have any real experience with this?

We're planning to carry-on our bags international and then hoping to pick up some sunscreen, etc. in GYE to take to GPS and would rather not have to check it.

In Peru, for sure there are no liquids restrictions for domestic flights. In Ecuador... I cannot remember exactly but I do not recall problems on domestic flights.
