Thank you Runforfun. Not received an E-Mail of this offer. I think this is another example of Qatar Airways administration frailties. Once again they will lose money, when will they learn. I always see some nice words from those at the very top, but it is just a pity that the same amount of energy cannot be sustained when delivering that information to their most loyal customers.

People like us check their site regularly and post on this forum, ergo, their most loyal customers still get the info. Plus, if less people are on their site buying tickets, all the more choice for me :D

open jaw for Y brings the cost down to less than £250 to HKG - taken from a german blog / twitter feed...

But when you try to buy the business ticket, it says the ticket is actually Economy (H)...

Haha yeah I saw that, however when you look at the fare rules on the right. It clearly states that you get access to the premium Terminal. So even though it says booking in Economy W the actual ticket is still business.

I did a search for like CPH to BKK, coming in at around $700 return in Business.

Not sure how this is even deemed a "sale" - before, SIN-DPS in Y is SGD 245 return. Now SGD 368 return after the 25% discount?!!

Part of this "sale" is almost looking like a scam. Just did a random booking for an upcoming flight YUL-MLE in May. And the "sale" price in Business was higher than any of the other fare options in Business. Even higher than full flex Business!!

take for example i got a ticket from Milan to Singapore in March fro 468 euro (1 way)
it was 435 all last month since that inc sale (downer for me), but now it is 425 euro...

also i would like to point that other tickets in that direction just got 20% off the price that was during the sale...

Not sure about business but depending on the dates, the fares were cheaper. I paid 1.8k from SIN-EZE during march promotion and I was quoted 1.5ish for the same route for the promo period, but the maximum stay was only 1 month. The sale was really good. Hope they have another one for second half of the year. though i must say, qatar need to improve the interface and internal system of their booking engine. totally sucks!
