Hi,
I am flying to Dubai end of this month. Can someone share to me the Biz class experience on this sector?
I HOPE I can on Wednesday. I'm booked DXB-BKK-KIX tomorrow night, but the biggest problem I see is the inbound flight TG517 has been delayed consistently 1-3 hours making TG518 delayed by 1:24 over the past week (over 2 hours tonight), which does not bode well for my KIX xfer. Does anyone know why 517 seems to make a such a habit of delay?? What's a realistic time to xfer (no checked bags) from 518 to 626 in Bangkok? Thanks!:eek:

Flew it a while ago. Economy class is packed to the brim generally with connecting pax to MNL.
You get to use the LH lounge in DXB.
Seems like TG flies one of their regional configured 777 on this route at that time. Seat wasn't 100% lie flat, but otherwise comfortable. Given this was a fairly longish flight, would have liked the lie-flat seat.

I flew this a few months back - new A330 seats OK for slopey lie-flats. Service was fine. Food OK. Slept most of the way DXB-BKK. The lounge at DXB was the awful Marhaba lounge. Disgusting dump it is too. The LH lounge is only for LH SENS/HONS/LH/LX First pax.

When did the LH lounge stopped being a *G lounge ? I have been a few times in that lounge with the *G card even when travelling in Y.
Though the last time i was there, due to UA DXB-IAD flight departing around the same time, the lounge was really full.

Since it was refurbished a few months ago it is now not being used for BUSINESS class pax.Those pax use the Marhaba dump. The LH lounge was a pitiful dump too before the refurb - packed & uncomfortable. It is now modern & fresh (in a Lufty kinda way ;)) and waaay less busy because of their revised policy. It is indeed a *G lounge.
