Hyatt Gold Passport - Suite Upgrade ADA Rooms

Every now and then I come across some very good pricing on the accessible rooms for some of the resorts we like to visit. I was curious if anyone has had success in booking the ADA rooms and then using the upgrade.

In most cases the best rates are nonrefundable prepay ones so before I put a phone rep through the ringer, I wanted to get the group's feedback on if this works well or not.

While I have been placed in accessible rooms, I have never booked one intentionally, and wouldn't because I don't need one.

I believe was in one in Waikiki that was a suite upgrade, but I'm not 100% certain.

I mean book the Ada room ant then use diamond cents to upgrade to suite so the Ada room is still available if needed
