Has anyone been to the temporary Flight BA2012 bar/restaurant in Shoreditch? If not you'll need to be quick as it's last day is 18th April 2012. It's located in a beaten up building on Shoreditch High Street, not far from Liverpool Street Station, but they have certainly spent some money on the interior. It has been opened by British Airways to celebrate their link to the London 2012 Olympics and showcases three different arts.

The main bar doubles up as a gallery showing working drafts and details of the Dove design that will feature on some of BA's aircraft during the Summer. There is also a restaurant with a Michelin star chef serving a new menu which will be served on BA flights (First Class only presumably). Finally there is a short 15 minute film called Boy starring Timothy Spall. The staff are all decked out in cabin crew livery which, along with it's aviation themed decor, adds to the atmosphere. I suspect the restaurant is fully booked but anyone can go into the bar and watch the film.

You're right, it's all sold out. BA Executive Club treated 30 FlyerTalkers to a meal there last week, and by the looks of things (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1326860-great-britons-event-flyertalk-competition-12-april-13.html) they enjoyed it.
I keep meaning to pop down to have a drink and watch the film!

Saw this review of BA2012 which says that although the restaurant is sold out - you can still pop in and try the bar food without a reservation
