Sorry for a newbie question (first post here). I am considering joinig EB and am based in China. Despite spending some 20 minutes on EB website, I cannot find any information on earning rates on *A airlines; e.g. P or J fare on TG.
All I can find for each airline is the minimum miles earned.
I also notice that the qualifying level for Gold is 70K. That seems very high and quite different from what I have read in this forum.
Any help would be appreciated.

From May 4, the EBG-level will be 50.000 for all countries except Norway (45.000).

Regarding earnings:
Usually it states something like:

Business: Min. 1200
Economy: Min. 600
Low Economy: Min 150

This should be read as:
Business: 200% of actual miles flown
Economy: 100% of actual miles flown
Low Economy: 25% of actual miles flown

You can find out how many miles each flight is by using a mileage calculator at i.e. www.webflyer.com and many other sites.

This applies to all *A-carriers. For SAS-group flights, they have a specific earnings chart, which also will be changed May 4. Then you'll earn 100% in all Economy Classes with SAS-group.

You probably already know this. But SAS is offering a status match for people living in China. Here is the link.

Then why does it say 70,000 here:

Or do I misunderstand?

The current Gold-level is indeed 70000 points, but it will change to 50000 points on the 4th of May: http://www.flysas.com/en/uk/EuroBonus/offers-news/EuroBonus-improvements/

So I did the status match and sent a copy of my BAEC Gold and AF Plat. Within two days I got regally matched to Basic. Same for my wife and one colleague here. Strange.

Do you for fill this: The offer is ONLY valid for cutomers who have registerd their frequent flyer program in mainland China or Hong Kong only. ?
If yes, then i would call eurobonus ASAP and get it sorted out.
