Well, I've been staring at ITA and a planning spreadsheet for a few weeks now trying to plan a surprise trip for my wife and I think I am at a point where I can't see the forest for the trees. I am hoping someone here may have some helpful suggestions.
Here is what I am trying to accomplish:
1) Keep the price of tickets as close to $2500CAD each
2) Gain as many Status Miles as possible (we are on Aeroplan)
3) be in VCE for 1 night, max 2 on 18JUL (wifes bday)
4) be in JTR for 1 to 3 nights on 1AUG (our anniversary)
5) Leave no eariler than 13JUL
6) Return no later than 6AUG
We can leave from YYZ/YTZ and want to spend 2-3 nights in any of the following cities: CDG, BRU, BER, IST, CPH, ARN, MUC, KBP, SOF, PRG, RAK, CAI, WAW, AMS
I've looked into things like the *A Europe Airpasses, individual segments, open jaws, and just not seeing a way to make it all work.
Any help would be appreciated, even just pointers into cheap fares for particular segments, or some other solution that I haven't thought of yet.
