We frequent Oahu and love the Sunday brunches at the Halekulani and Kahala there. Would like to know if there are similar brunches in Maui that are highly recommended..thanks

Probably Ka‘anapali Beach Hotel, although I don't really do sunday brunch much.

Depends what area you're staying, but the Swan Court at Hyatt is more upscale, for better or worse, and probably more along the lines of what you've experienced. Very nice setting. Not sure if they do things up special on Sundays tho.

Thanks jpete and alex...unfortunately our scheduling changed and we ended up not making any brunch Sunday. We DID have dinner at Swan Court and it was pleasant though overpriced as with most restaurants in Maui. Not to deviate from the brunch question, but dinner at the Swan in Hyatt did not allow us to see the sunset (in case anyone was interested) thought the view was serene,etc..
