Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - Business Class seats on TG 77J and 772

Good morning to all,

I did a search in the TG forum - without any success.

we have scored BMI award seats FRABKK on a 77J (config 1-2-1) and on to BKKDPS on a 772 (config 2-2-2).

I got pre-assigned single seats 11A and 12A right behind FRABKK and a pair of window aisle seats 12JK on the shorthaul BKKDPS.

On BKKDPS 772 Row 11 was entirely blocked, on FRABKK 77J ALL seats were available to grab (both of us are *A Gold if that helps).

Crucial is for us the overnight longhaul FRABKK - seatguru.com does not have any comments on specific seats, but shows front row single seats 9 and 10 (A or K) as well as middle seats 8DG (no galley noise up there ?) all available.

Your opinion which seats we should pick for FRABKK would be most welcome.

I think the seats you've got are fine. Avoiding 8DG on the 77J is a good idea (a bit too much light/noise). For the same reason, some people prefer to avoid row 9 also. Other than that, all the J seats on the 77J are pretty much the same (just depends if you like a window). 11A & 12A are as good as any.

Please note it's really hard to talk b/w the D & G seats on the 77J so it makes sense to book two as you have done.

12JK will be fine on the 772.

It is normal for row 11, bulkhead, to be blocked on the 777-200/300. You may be able to obtain these seats during OLCI or at the airport.
