Hi all,
I am heading to downtown Miami in late April-early May for a couple days. I am looking for good food options, specifically for fresh crabs, that is easily accessible through public transport as I will not have a valid driver's license. Any suggestions are very welcome.
Thanks!

What part of Downtown are you staying in?
Stone crab season runs until May 15, and there are plenty of places to get fresh crab downtown.
Trulucks on Brickell has all you can eat stone crabs on Mondays. Not cheap, but if crab is what you are looking for...

Thanks for the reply. I'll be near the Omni Metromover Station. Do you have any idea on the prices? Looks like Trulucks will be about $50 per person for stone crabs.

I think it is around $70 per person, includes unlimited sides/salads/soups. Probably 20mins or so on the metromover.
Oceanaire in Brickell also has excellent seafood (pricey), as does the River Oyster Bar. La Granja Peruvian has some simple but tasty seafood dishes. Ceviche 105 has great ceviche and is a little closer to Omni. There is a good sushi place on the ground floor of the Japanese consulate also.
All of the restaurants above can be accessed by Metromover from Omni without too much effort, though the mover can be a little confusing at times.
