Aegean Airlines Miles&Bonus - UA A3 500-mile minimum question

Not sure whether to post this in the UA forum or here. I'll be flying with A3 in a month from LHR to LCA RT. I am a UA Premier Silver member, and have inputted my number into the booking for A3. However, the fare class does not qualify for flight miles to post. I noticed, however, at the bottom of the page that lists this info the following:

* Premier members earn a minimum of 500 base miles on all purchased fare classes.

Even though I am booked into a fare class that doesn't accrue mileage, do I still earn the 500 mile bonus?

Bonus question: I inputted my number prior to the UA/CO merger, and it has since changed. Do I need to change it or will the old one work alright?

No, that minimum is only if you would get something in first place

So ur question is UAMP earning on A3 flights? UA forum should be a better place..

If the UA nor has changed, then you need to change it. However if the fare class does not earn any miles, you won't get the minimum 500 miles anyway

You should get 500 miles. For the short hops, it's better to take UA. For the longer ones, I try to take US Air (gives 100% on MOST fares).
