I'll be flying AKL-HNL (NZ10) early Sept this year, how are the business class seats?, service, and food?

I thought that it was going to a 777-200 at this time, unless it was for a peak period?

You may still be correct as they can put in a 763 on the day of the flight :)

We were booked on a 777-200 back from Nadi on Saturday but it was changed to a 763.
I enquired about the aircraft now used on the AKL HNL route as we are booked out on a 763 in June and back on a 777-200 in August and thought that they must have changed to a 777-200 but the Purser said that the 763 was still the usual aircraft for that route.
Bus class was already fully sold for 2nd June when we booked in Dec!!!

During peak travel times (roughly May-September I think) the NZ9/NZ10 service is operated by 777 aircraft. The 767 operates during all other times and is the default or fallback aircraft if a 777 is unavailable on any given day.

Interesting, does that mean they operate a three class service or do they simply seat premium pax in the PE seats like they do on TT routes?

A three class service is offered on the 777-200.
