Just went through the US shuttle checkpoint at LGA. The TDC asked everyone to state their name. Has anyone else come across this?

However, I can tell you that they REALLY do not like expired ID's. iluv2fly Apr 11, 12, 3:59 pm Was at the UA checkpoint at LGA last Thursday at 10:00 am. They were playing the game. At least I was able to let the pax in front of me know how "safe" we all were now after this little act of security theatre. gobluetwo Apr 12, 12, 7:39 am Was at the UA checkpoint at LGA last Thursday at 10:00 am. Weird, I was there last Thursday at 5pm and they were not playing the name game. Then again, it may have been because "traffic" at the checkpoint was unusually bad. iluv2fly Apr 13, 12, 4:37 pm Weird, I was there last Thursday at 5pm and they were not playing the name game. Usually, you can go into the elite line and have maybe one person ahead of you. That day, the elite line was backed up into the lobby area. The non-elite line snaked almost all the way to the escalators going down to the restaurants. Agent was playing the game with everyone in my vicinity. There were no prizes, however. gobluetwo Apr 14, 12, 8:58 pm Ironically, the traffic at the checkpoint when I was there was the worst I have seen it in years. The non-elite line snaked almost all the way to the escalators going down to the restaurants. Same situation for me. I usually have maybe 2-3 people ahead of me, at most. That day, both lines were into the lobby, with the regular line actually going around the corner. Houston.Business Apr 15, 12, 10:13 am Name game is played at "random" Not at IAH & HOU. Superguy Apr 16, 12, 11:14 am I got it at BWI on Friday. I was caught off guard as I wasn't expecting it and gave him my first name. More stupidity. :td: Houston.Business Apr 17, 12, 5:41 am Name game is played at "random" Maybe random from airport to airport, but IAH has been playing regularly for months now. Funny thing is HOU does not. 2 Airports in the same city, one does, and one does not. So who exactaly makes these rules? Penbank Apr 17, 12, 9:36 am What is the name game for?
