NH is revamping their domestic product in the same "Inspiration of Japan" theme as their international product. These changes are mostly a plus for Premium Class passengers, while economy passengers will get free coffee and not much else. Here is a summary of the changes:

Premium Class
- A new seat will be introduced gradually, starting with two new 772s that NH is due to receive at the end of April. It will have dividers, more recline, a USB port, a larger table, and be fitted with leather
- Inflight meals will now be a selection of "Premium Gozen" (プレミアム御膳) or "Premium Sabo" (プレミアム茶房), replacing the Takumi and Mug Cafe offerings
- On routes from HND, FUK, CTS, and ITM, special offerings from famous restaurants/hotels will be available on a monthly basis. In June, Premium Gozen from Gion Sasaki and Ginza Koju and Premium Sabo from the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo will be offered
- Starbucks Coffee will now be available for free in F; however, it will no longer be available for My Choice purchase in Y
- All F passengers now have access to NH lounges (previously they were excluded from many of them)

Economy
- Drip coffee will now be available for free
- New seats will be introduced on all aircraft, starting with the new 772s
- My Choice will continue as before; Starbucks Coffee service will end on 31 May

Awesome! Thanks for posting the details in English. I have a few domestic segments in Japan in F as part of a RTW trip and my first Japan segment is June 4, so I can report on new service.

By the way, what is the difference between the "Gozen" and the "Sabo"?

Cheers,

By the way, what is the difference between the "Gozen" and the "Sabo"?

As far as I can tell, the Gozen is akin to the current Takumi bento service; the Sabo is lighter than the Gozen but more substantial than the current Mug Cafe service, with sandwiches and similar fare.

One thing I noticed in the press release on closer inspection is that they will allow passengers to take home evening meals on some flights if they don't/can't eat them onboard.
