Mileage Run Discussion - ITA UI issues

Has anyone noticed ITA's UI oddities where it clears all the info you've put into the fields so you have to re-enter everything?
I fill in my search parameters with advanced routing codes. I search. Then I hit "modify my search" to change parameters. I decide I don't want to use advanced codes, so I just erase them without clicking the link to remove the field boxes. Then when I hit search, everything is erased! ugh.
Sometimes, just for fun, ITA will erase everything I've put in when I hit search. It's harder to describe this one because it's not very repeatable.

Are you using the tab key? I only experience this issue when using tab between fields but it never happens when I click.

I am using Firefox, but not Ghostery.

Hmm.. very interesting observation you have. I just tried it without using tab, but with clicking, which is literally orders of magnitude slower, and the clearing issue goes away. This should definitely be fixed though. It slows down searching.

Also if you start chenging dates, it will automatically rearrange in chronological order, thus if you do pay close attention - every origin - destination will be reversed;

It happens 99% of the time when you tab to "advanced routing codes" before your airport had a chance to autocorrect. Your tabbing will blank the adv routing code on focus only to be restored to "Enter routing code" after your city got autocorrected which, if not erased or modified first, will crap Matrix out to reset the form.
Fun fact: if you enter the exact same text into the routing code field that appears there by default then Matrix will not say a thing. Just like when you ctrl+z back to an autocorrected city name that will be not accepted by the form, even though it is (quite obviously) matching the corrected version letter by letter.
More than annoying.
WWE, stop bashing ITA and go back to your drinks! :D

Yes. I've noticed this, too, especially when using multi-city search. Very annoying.

I'd settle for the flaky UI if they restored the search depth/breadth. :(

Precisely. Bring back the normal search!

ITA has been experiencing technical difficulties lately. Sometimes results are way over-priced to find out that other website can populate better pricing.

Chrome and Ghostery.
I think the auto-complete code is a bit buggy as others seem to have deduced.
