U.K. and Ireland - No1 Gatwick North vs Serviceair Aspire

Down at Gatwick next week. Which lounge would you recommend?

No. 1 Gatwick North. It's a nice lounge, the staff were really friendly and helpful the last time I was in, and there is a nice range of buffet food, with some hot food options as well and it has windows.

I will admit I haven't been in Aspire since they redid it - the old Wentworth lounge was ok, but not great, but it looks like the food options have jumped up. Seems as though lounge quality is increasing at LGW though.

No1 by a mile - they are way better than the normal "pay for use" airport lounges.

ServisAir lounge is better if you want to drink a lot; you have to order from the bar at the No. 1 lounge which can be a bit limiting. No. 1 has cooked to order food at meal times.
