Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Incorrect status on (OLCI) boarding pass

Although my Senator number is linked to all my LH bookings, during OLCI the boarding pass never reflects my Senator status, rather it reflects M/M status instead. If time allows I have this manually corrected by the check in staff at the airport, but it somewhat defeats the purpose of my checking in online.

For reference my Senator number is generally entered by our company travel agent during the booking process, and the booking itself is visible in my Senator lounge profile. So I cannot understand why during OLCI I am issued a pass with M/M status instead.

Any ideas as to why this could be happening? Is this a known glitch in LH software or is there something else at play?

I am facing this issue too. It has happened numerous times. In my case it seems to have started after the upgrading of the M&M system earlier this year. I have random status on my BP printed this year, sometimes M/M sometimes FTL.

I have asked once at check-in on this and they suspect that it could be due to the system upgrade. Was advised to write in, but I did not get around to do that as yet.

btw: sometime ago, emails to customer service was also rerouted to IT support. Luckily they recognized it and informed that they will forward the email to the correct department and have this fix asap.

Often the TA doesn't code the SEN number correctly and the system just shows M/M on the BP. I would ask the staff at the ticketing desk at the airport who have access to GuideRes to take a look what is wrong with the booking and follow up with the TA so they code it right.

In the meantime, take a look at the booking using classic.checkmytrip.com or the ticket using eitr.amadeusasia.com to see what FFP details were transmitted from your TAs GDS to LH's CRS Amadeus.

I guess most probably number is in the field where miles go to, not the one where miles come from, FQTV and FQTS, if I remember correctly

Thanks for the advice. I just checked the Amadeus site and my Senator number was indeed communicated as part of the booking. Which makes this even odder.

It's often not related to TA bookings, I get M&M instead of HON & SEN for myself + companions since the new OLCI system when these were booked online with my correct card number. There are more discussions about this in the new OLCI thread somewhere.

The check-in agents see the correct status even in these cases, in my experience.
