India - Hyatt Regency Pune or Vivanta by Taj Blue Diamond

Hi Folks,

Need to be in Pune for few days next week..Both the above hotels have the same rate for my company and I need to go on Kalyani Nagar road so its approx same distance from the above hotels..

Where should we stay considering for a better hotel experience ?

haven't stayed at the hyatt but have stayed a number of times at the blue diamond....its a nice property in a decent location....i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again....

I've stayed at the Taj a few times and it's a decent hotel but given a choice I would pick one of the several other options in Pune. The location is excellent though. Lot's of great restaurants in the area.

The Hyatt is newer and though I haven't stayed there it looks to be an excellent hotel. Not sure what Hyatt's policy is on a status match but maybe you can reach out to them and see if they will match your MR status.

If the Westin isn't a lot more that might be a very good option.

I stayed at the Westin couple of months back.. its quite a good hotel but as very few SPG properties have my corp agreement and I am not a SPG regular, dont wanna stay here ;)

Hyatt, am planning to take a plat challenge ..

Taj's IC is not upto Hyatt's GP I believe, so this time will try Hyatt and see it..
