Etihad Airways Etihad Guest - Connecting through MEL (QF to EY F-class)- how to get lounge pass

Next week, I will be flying AKL-(QF)-MEL-(EY)-AUH. Incoming Qantas leg is C-class, Etihad leg is First.

How will I be able to access the NZ lounge at MEL? Does EY issue lounge passes, or can I just us my EY boarding pass?

I ask, because as a transiting passenger I won't be checking in at the EY counter at MEL. And as far as I understand, there is no transfer desk at MEL either...

I know the NZ lounge is not great, but would still like to access it during my layover.

I would imagine the lounge has some entry cards that they will fill in from your BP.
In MCT this is what happened when I transited and had no lounge invite to the Plaza Premium third party lounge that EY use there at the moment.
