I'm staying at the Hyatt in Vancouver, BC next weekend. Just a nice one-night trip with my wife. The Hyatt website offered their best rate at $239CDN which is higher than I am used to paying for that hotel. I booked the reservation and called Hyatt to ask if they could do any better. After looking through her computer, the rep offered me $236CDN. "oooh, big savings" you say....however, this rate also included full breakfast for two which can also be via room service and two tickets to the IMAX theater.

It softens the cost of tourist season rate sbut it still kills me when I know this hotel is only $119CDN off-season!
