Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - How long does it take to receive a new card?

I made it to Elite status about two weeks ago and was wondering how long it usually takes TK to mail out the new cards.
Any experiences?

I can't remember how long it took for me - I'd say at least a month or two. But this may be very variable as airlines usually order new cards by batches every once in a while.
The good point is that every Star airline should have your new tier in their system and you should already be able to enjoy gold privileges.

We had everything from 6 month-10 days.

I suggest to print your temporary card while waiting.

I got it within 4 weeks after status upgrade.

I got the card today. Still the old design, though. But who cares?

You will receive your card AFTER your first qualifyng flight.

Received my star silver card 2 weeks after qualifying miles posted, Elite card took 3 weeks. Both the old design.

Maybe I'm missing it, but where can I print a temporary card? I can go to the account and print out my statement, but I don't have something that prints out an actual card...

Before TK refurbished its website we had the opportunity to print the card out.
This option is no longer available. Unfortunately !

None the less.I recently had several flights with LH (very strict in recent years ) & KF .Wasn't asked for my card one time.Neither for Lounge access nor for the Fast Track.

BP worked just fine. ^

By mail unless you are resident in Turkey can take forever before you receive a new card. However if you ever happen to be at Istanbul Airport at the International Terminal there is a Miles & Smiles desk which is able to print your new card in few seconds, that is how I have got mine .

Has anyone been sent card without doing any qualifying flights with TK?
