Hertz - One way Corvette from LAX?

Can anyone tell me if I can rent a Corvette or similar one way from LAX to SFO?

It doesnt seem to be available on the website.

You generally can't do that with the collection cars. I was able to do it with a 350z a few years ago, but I rented a Camry one-way, then negotiated with the Gold office person onsite. It came to $40 for the week.

Since you'd be retuning it in-state, your chances are a little better.

I am in the same situation, renting in LAX returning in PHX and hoping for something nice. I reserved a premium class so that minimal I get would be at least something decent.

i'd pay a lot if i could get anything from the adrenaline...

so basically, it's worth trying to negotiate at gold counter, right? it's our honeymoon so i want something nice.
