SAS EuroBonus - Cash + Points and points upgrade?

Hey guys.

Quick question: is it possible to use points to upgrade at the gate with a ticket that was purchased via Cash + Points?

I know that bonus tickets cannot be upgraded with points, but is the above considered a bonus ticket? I mean, most of it was paid with cash in my case.

What is your booking class?

Cannot find the booking class anywhere, not in the confirmation email nor the SAS website :confused:

It just says "Economy - Fixed".

However I noticed the following information:

Wow thats annoying. I cant help you without the booking class. But try ask the SAS Facebook team, they seem pretty good or els try and call SAS.

My immediate guess is that your ticket is not eligible for point upgrade, as I guess it is not booked into a revenue class, but it could be. I have never tried those tickets, so I really dont know. Please let us know about the outcome :)

Finally got an answer: if I'm flying SAS only then yes, I can upgrade for points at the gate.

Points and cash tickets are issued just like regular tickets, just the payments section is adjusted. Although the endorsement field has a bit of text, it doesn't affect the ticket and it is recognised as a normal revenue ticket.

Yet as I understand it NO miles are awarded for that flight so it would seem its not a full revenue ticket? or did I misread?
