Technical Support and Feedback - Travel forum is in a mess.
Clicked on Travel & Dining only to find the destinations sub forums have disappeared.
Has there been some tinkering going on recently as the layout seems to have changed for the worse?
Same here. The women's travel forum is the last forum available under Travel & Dining.

It looks as if they intend to spin off the affected fora into a new stand-alone category called "Destinations." But it's not reflected in the top-level site taxonomy. You can still find all the affected content via the jump-to menu, it's all still there, just not accessible via normal navigation.

Our Community Director explained the new setup in another thread (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/18358305-post50.html) yesterday:
I've just set up a new section of FlyerTalk called Destinations.
If you guys have some ideas on how to improve the layout, you may want to chime in over there: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/talkboard-topics/1297223-how-destination-forums-ordered.html

Sorry, guys, that the new destinations section didn't show up in the forum drop down menu. It does now.

Sorry, guys, that the new destinations section didn't show up in the forum drop down menu. It does now. Fine with that and with the descriptions... but it's a mistake to banish "Destinations" from the master nav structure. The drop-down menu is not an alpha path to anything, but a discoverable backup route.

I finally understand to what people are referring, and have asked IB to redo that top line.

I am going to lock this thread, and ask folks to make further comments here:

This will allow me to answer questions in one thread rather than two.
