Frontier Airlines EarlyReturns - Had the best service this weekend!

Just wanted to post that I had the absolute best experience yet this last Saturday. Boarded Flight 1655 from Denver to Provo and had settled into my usual "1st class" seat (4F) when the attendant approached me, confirmed my first name and asked if there was anything she could get me. Throughout the flight, she continued to use my name and was incredibly attentive. After having flown Frontier almost exclusively the last four years, this was the first time anybody had ever actually called me by name or really provided any special service. It was an absolute treat! I really did feel like I was flying 1st class! At the end of the flight, she even gave me extra cookies to take home (which my kids loved!).

Thanks to Deneen on flight 1655! You really made my day!

Sounds like an excellent trip. Make sure you go leave some feedback on the website (I know they've sent me surveys in the past) because I'd love for them to keep that kind of service up.

Had an interesting first time experience flying DEN-SNA on Saturday.

Before departing the gate, The Captain emerged from the flight deck, introduced himself and the rest of the crew. Gave us a briefing on the flight time and weather. A true first on any flight I've taken.

Added a nice personal touch to the flight as it's rare to see the guys behind the closed door.

I had the same experience yesterday on flight 531 from LAS-DEN. I had never seen it before and I was impressed

I wonder if this is a new procedure they are introducing or if it is just a few pilots. Anyone else experience it recently?

I'm really impressed if they do introduce it company wide. Costs nothing and adds a nice personal touch that people remember.

Please make sure that you send these comments to Frontier/Republic. They do make a world of difference and they mean a lot to the crews.

I asked the FA about it. She stated it was just something HE liked to do. Perhaps, it was the same Captain. (Captain Marks/Marx)

Frontier is aware of my experience :) BTW, speaking of sharing experiences with Frontier, does anybody else find the most expedient way to communicate with them is often through twitter? I've had them reply in minutes (sometimes) to both positive and negative experiences (such as griping about being delayed with no postings on the boards and no info from gate agents or thanking them for a great flight!).

Twitter seems to be a successful route for a lot of people. I think because its in "public" they want to make sure they take care of any problems ASAP and rightly so. Not that everyone's issues aren't important but if someone is already on twitter they can quickly tell all their friends that F9 fixed their issue right away and it looks good for the company.

Very interesting webinar sponsored by Radian6, about "Social Media Customer Service" in the airline industry. Radian6 works with Frontier.

I'm bumping my own thread because I just had my second flight this year with FA DeNeen and it was just as great as the first. The Summit sitting next to me was amazed how friendly and personalized the service was. I've already sent a compliment off to Frontier and I hope she's recognized for it.
