Hyatt Gold Passport - Double Diamond

I'm a Hyatt Diamond now. But I just received a new Diamond card with a new account number sent to my old address (the post office forwarded it).

There was no explanation why they sent me a Diamond card. But at least they enclosed a nice Suite upgrade coupon.

I called Hyatt to let them know and they cancelled the new card. But they didn't tell me why they sent it in the first place.

Comped?

It was definitely a comp. But I don't know where it came from. They obviously didn't know I was already a member and I don't know why it went to my old address.

Oh well, it's not a problem. I was just curious.

Hey I would love to be a Diamond member! I began staying at Hyatt last year instead of Hilton. I had a total of six nights and in a few days will have another five nights.
Take it and run, stimpy!

I don't mean to sound rude but Double Diamond sounds like AMWAY to me, and this manes me uncomfortable with Hyatt. Just me.
