Do they exist anymore?
Do they avoid the cc debit card fees?
downsides? exp dates etc

The big downside was that you didn't get change - so if you had a £50 voucher and used it for a £10 flight you lost the other £40.

These days the only way to avoid the charges on flights from the UK is to use a Ryanair pre-paid Mastercard.

Easy way to avoid Ruinair fees: don't fly Ruinair.
