Hello,
In California, car rental quotes usually do not include Liability Insurance. In an example booking with Hertz, the extra fee for the Liability Insurance Supplement is a 101% markup (plus tax on top, if any).
As a result, comparing prices is very difficult, as it often says that Liability Insurance will be offered at the counter - so you have no idea if that will be 9.95, 13.95, maybe 24.47 a day.
Is there a source that collects and provides such information, so I can compare prices?
Thank you!
I tried a google search, but failed to dig up anything useful.
