Hi folks,

can anyone comment on what I would get on J PPS-MNL moe than in Y? Is the higher price worth it?

thanks!

J domestic is just priority boarding and about 8 seats in front. That's about it. If it is a short trip better save on fare. Domestic is just short trips anyway.

It is not worth it. Seriously, this how the flight goes - you go in the plane, put your bags in the overhead compartment, take a crap in the lavatory and all of a sudden its ladies and gentlemen please fasten your seatbelt, we're about to land.

They do serve hot meals on board and priority tagging for your luggage too.

From my recollection:

Baggage Allowance - PR domestic
Business: 35 kilos
Economy: 15 kilos

The hot meals are nothing to write home about. It's probably going to be some scrambled eggs with canned sausages with rice (Filipinos love rice).

I'd take a boat trip some time. It takes forever but the experience is pretty cool. You can book a "presidential suite" on these boats for 5000 PHP and get a whole room with 3 beds to yourself.

The Fiesta Class allowance is 20 kg, except for deeply-discounted fare classes, where the allowance is 15 kg.
