Fellow travelers-

I need some advise on the best places to visit in South Italy for the 1st time.

I have been to northern Italy before, but now I want to explore south Italy.

Thanks,

Jerrante

Need a little more information.

How much time do you have in Italy? Where are you travelling from?
In general what do you like to see, history, museums, nature/hiking?
What time of year will you travel?

It would be easier to build a trip with those basic details.

Otherwise in general spend several days in Sicily and several in the Naples area. To be more specific I need some more info.

+1.... the more info the better.

IMO, Southern Italy is like a whole new country that speaks that same language as the North. I absolutely love it down their (south of Napoli) but just be prepared. To add to it, the east and western portions have a distinct feel...without even throwing Sicily into that mix.
