SAS EuroBonus - USA 2012 availability and pricing

Hi

I'm looking flights to US during summer and noticed that prices are very high during July, like 8-10k DKK for Chicago for example. Do not want to spend so much money just for flights, need to save money for shopping ;)

When looking booking classes via flightstats, it seems that they are only selling high economy classes as all low economy classes are zero.

Is it possible that prices will drop in coming months and low economy classes become available?

Most lower fares to the US have a blackout around June 20th-August 15th so I would not expect much.

8000 DKK from CPH is probably a bit on the high side, a quick ita search gives me 6200 DKK during July with LX. Don't know if its bookable though. In general, July is absolute peak season and I would not expect many offers.

what about offers in C? Probably not many business pax during holiday months.

I seem to remember OS offering around 12k for US sometime ago. Difference to economy is not much

I just paid $1100/person for DEN-ORD-ARN-EWR-DEN for a four-week trip in July. Compared to the past two years, this was a steal.
