Any chance that we might see the 787 or 777 grace our skies anytime soon ? I'd love to have another choice when flying to asia. Our national carrier may soon fold up! You may see 787 in the future but I don't think it's a priority to deploy the 787 to this somehow dying route. At least probably not till after early 2013 (JAL has listed their planned 787 routes till the end of the fiscal year). But of course they can always add one or more 787 destinations if they see more deliveries. IMHO, SFO has a higher chances compared to YVR but this is just my speculation jamar Apr 5, 12, 6:24 pm I would also wish for a shift to HND, but that does limit connection opportunities... Also, my sister has now tried CX YVR-HKG-SHA (compared to JL YVR-NRT-PVG) and she says the food's better and the seats are nicer. (I wonder how common this opinion is) But most CX discount fares don't earn on AA so she now puts everything on JMB. |
