Which side of the bird should I sit on in order to enjoy a good view flying into Schiphol? Any advice? Or it doesn't really matter?

And what about flying out of Schiphol to the United States?

Muchas gracias!

Good view of what? The drizzle, the muddy fields, or the steel mill? :D

For AMS-USA, you *might* get a better view of Greenland sitting on the right side than the left, but only if your flight just grazes the southern tip of the island (and if it isn't overcast).

If you're coming in from the North, and if it's a clear day, and if you're lucky, you might get a nice view of the city on the left side. But more often than not there is nothing interesting to see when landing at AMS.

I've landed at AMS hundreds of times and there are nice views on either side. And it's not true that it rains all the time. It cycles off and on every 15 minutes. :D
