San Francisco - Air side connections in SFO

Hi, I want to avoid cancer machines at International terminal (Gates A1 through A1) and was wondering if I could use the famous UA checkpoint @ T3 and then walk to International A? Is this possible.

don't want to bother with opt out. Flight is around 9AM. Do they operate cancer machines during early morning?

The A pier is all by itself. You cannot access the A pier from any other security checkpoint.
