A major tornado hit DFW this afternoon with massive disruptions to all airline operations. Luckily for Qantas QF7 doesn't operate on Tuesdays as the storm hit right around the time QF7 is scheduled to arrive. Had it landed (and not been pro-actively diverted) the aeroplane would have been on the ground throughout the hail storm and may have suffered significant damage taking it out of service for a while.
