Not only that, but TN cooperates with OW members far more than AF/ST.

Just to clarify: TN denies having chosen oneworld. (Your terse "TN Denied" made it sound like TN was denied by oneworld, but that's not what the aritlcle is about, it's about TN denying that it has made the final decision.)

I doubt it will happen. TN is in serious financial trouble so I see the cost of integration will prohibit this.
Also like kiwiandrew does oneworld really want or need them? There is a cost to all members when a new airline joins so what is the benefit for them?
After the Kingfisher debacle, with the loss of Mexicana and Malev surely oneworld would want its member airlines to be financially viable or risk damage to its brand?

I was all excited when I saw the thread title. I've been contemplating a Global Explorer so I could visit Tahiti or Fiji but it would be very convenient to be able to use Air Tahiti Nui on a DONEx.
