Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - ANC to BOS - how to get it cheaper than $233?
I'm flying in mid-July from ANC to BOS and found the lowest fare at $ 233,- one-way with United. I do not have any FF points. Priceline isn't an option => only r/t.
Any thoughts/ideas how to lower this price? ANC to New York (all airports) or Washington DC is also fine.
You should always check a variety of search engines to see if there is a price anomaly for NYC or WAS airports, but $233 is an outstanding fare. In addition, consider the cost of transport to BOS from NYC or WAS, even by train/bus and the value of your time.

Even if you were to find a lower fare, it would not be much lower. That's a great fare, I would consider booking it while it's still that low.

I would grab that fare NOW. Do not hesitate. It is a great fare.
I have kept records on my ticket costs for years and it is very unusual for ANC peak season fares to be any sort of a deal at all.

At 5 cpm it is a very decent fare.
How are you getting to ANC? You can price a multi-city itinerary from Boston to Fairbanks (or wherever you're going) then from ANC to BOS.
That said $233 doesn't look good, it looks great.
Considering that BOS-ANC is longer than BOS-LHR, BOS-DUB, or BOS-LIS - I'd be very happy with the $233 and book it ASAP.

Do not let that fare get away.... you will never see it much lower than that... and I would not personally take the risk just on the possible hope of saving another $5 or $10.
