JAL Mileage Bank - JL718 BKK to NRT in May

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of service and seat I can expect on this flight in Business Class? I understand that it is on a 777 but does is it a regional or long haul configuration?

On those overnight flights, I'm usually asleep before or shortly after take off but I'm sure the service is as good as ever.

It is the long haul configured (W51) one with Shell Flat seats since your flight have PY service.

On this short redeye service it goes something like this.

My recent flight you get greeted when you sit down and before the airplane safety video / taxiing to the runway the FA will ask if you want to be woken up for breakfast.

When the flight departs the C cabin remains dark until about 50min-1hr before arrival to serve breakfast (depends on the load). Mine went bright 2 hrs before arrival the last two times because of terrible landing weather.

Service wise should be like any other JAL flight. I sat in the F section and had 3 FA's for 9 people....

Once the whole plane had 50 people with 9 FA's...

Red eyes from BKK to NRT are brutal. Not nearly enough time to sleep, so take advantage of what you have.

If you are headed for Tokyo upon arrival, I recommend buying up to the NEX Green Car for an hour of comfortable napping on the way into the city. About the only situation when it is worth the price.
