InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - 6C/Ambassador get you anything at holiday inn?

I'm a 6CC/Ambassador member and usually just stay at IC's. I have an upcoming trip to Paris where I might stay at the Holiday Inn Bastille. Will the 6CC get me anything special at this hotel like an upgrade or something similar?

2 wks ago I was at the Paris HI Opera. Got upgraded to a better room, not a suite, and a very generous fruit basket. I too am a SCC member although my Ambassador card has not arrived yet. Also got upgraded to a suite at HI kensingston in London, but then again I am a regular there and almost always get this treatment, but no fruit basket!

Let us know how you find the Bastille HI as I have never stayed there and often wonder what it is like. I have stayed at many of the HI properties in Paris, and the Opera is the best I have found, hands down despite its location which is 10-15 min walk to the Opera. Still, I recommend this property over most of the others such as Republique, St Germain des Pres, HI Garden near Champs Elysees, etc.

100,000miler, I'm curious if it will be a Platinum or Gold Ambassador card since you did sign up before December 18, 2003.

As a 6CC/Ambassador with my stays in China, I got room upgrades and fruit basket. Not club floor, but at least a suite.

I signed up on the 16th got Platinum membership. In fact, the 6C helpdesk strived to make everyone platinum that regged before the 18th.
