Is the Alamo at LAX one of those locations where even though you might have reserved a specific car category, you end up being sent to an aisle where you pick what ever you want? We were in Denver a week ago and had a Priceline rental with Alamo where I had reserved and paid for a standard size car, but at the Alamo location, we were given the choice of any car in two aisles to choose from. We end up choosing a van due to the extra space. So, I am just curious as to what we will find at Alamo LAX? Thanks.

Yes, you are sent to an aisle. I've found Jettas in the Midsize section. Nothing like a Jetta for a $20/day rental. :D

Got a brand spanking new town and country fully loaded with leather at this location for two weeks. I like the pick your car concept.

One reason I tend to try and stick to Alamo if rates are competitive, I love the pick your own car concept they have. It's so much nicer than just being handed a set of keys and being stuck.
I'm looking to rent out of LAX in October too. Never rented an SUV from Alamo, so I'm curious as to what's in their fleet.
