Europe - B&B in Austria or Switzerland

I'm looking for recommendations for a nice bed and breakfast in the alps in either (or both) Austria or Switzerland. Any suggestions?

But really, your parameters are too broad. Areas of interest? Time of year? Any planned activities? Budget?

There are many, many options ranging from very simplistic to quite luxurious, but it all depends on the above. My former flat (albeit just a few km on the German side) was renting for about €35/night with no breakfast in summer season, well located to major sightseeing, skiing, etc for a 3 room flat with small kitchen in the classic 1970's Bavarian orange floral decor. That's just one example however and you really would need to give a little more insight into your preferences.

Ideally we are looking for something in June that is scenic somewhere in the alps, probably not in a city, maybe with hiking available. Budget is very open for the right place...

well that narrows it down a little, but still a relatively large area. Are you flying in? Which city? Will you have a car, or looking to take the train, etc? Remember too that you need a vignette for a car in both countries, albeit cheaper in Austria because you can purchase short term ones (assuming that the rental doesn't already have one)

http://www.bnb.ch is probably the most comprehensive listing of B and Bs in Switzerland. B and B is less common here than in many countries, but in recent years has started to expand.
