airberlin | topbonus - AB or AA account?

With AB now part of oneWorld, should I start collecting my miles into the AB or AA program? Who has compared these two programs?

I have had an AA account for a couple of years now.. and the thing that sucks about theirs, is that their miles burn after 1.5 years of inactivity..
but i was wondering since AB is joining oneworld.. can you combine your flight miles with AA and AB? right now I have miles on both accounts (maybe like you?)

take British Airways Avios you can collect 500 miles for every sector you fly with Air Berlin only Bonus Miles but the hold 3 years of inactivity.
AA is not more good then is in the 11 Chapter.

My recommendation is to pick the program for an airline in the country you will be flying most.
As to the AA mileage expiration, there is an easy fix, one of their credit cards and a small charge on them will extend the date of expiration.
The comments above on the Chapter condition of AA relevant to earn/burn are nonsense.
