I've got an offer from a friend to transfer ~22.5k F9 miles to me. F9 charges 1 cpm to transfer miles and I'm trying to decide if it's worth paying $220 for the miles. If I had a trip in the near future I'd transfer miles to his account and book the tix there but unfortunately I don't have any impending domestic travel that F9 would be useful on.
I think he wants to be done with F9 for good so I'm looking for a way to generate good value for me and require minimal effort on his part. Any sort of transfer bonus would make this a no-brainer but at a straight 1 cpm I'm on the fence. Does anyone have any way to increase the value here or a compelling argument for me to buy F9 miles at 1 cpm?
