Canada - V.I.P. lounge at YUL
I am flying J on AF and have an 8 hour layover at YUL. The AF lounge doesn't open until 2:30 (14:30). I see that there's a V.I.P lounge that opens early in the morning. It says that people who fly business or first on some airlines are allowed free entry. My first question, is AF one of these select airlines? And, if so, has anyone had any recent experience with this lounge. If AF isn't an eligible airline, I thought I might just pay for the day pass whch I have to order on line.

An AF ticket does not get you into that lounge ("TD Lounge"), as the airline runs its own facility and YUL and hence does not contract with a 3rd party supplier.
However, a Priority Pass will get you in - or you can just buy a day pass.
Edited to add: With 8h to spare, you may consider a trip downtown instead of hanging out by the airport. It's $8 round-trip on the 747 Express Bus (http://www.stm.info/bus/GEOMET/GEO747.htm)which runs every 15-30min.
Thanks. I do have a Priority Pass. We've been thinking of going downtown since we haven't been to Montreal in quite some time.
