Anyone stayed at this hotel or another all seasons?

I never stayed at this hotel, but have slept in 2 other All Seasons.

One was in Amiens. This hotel used to be a Mercure, and they had removed all the old furniture from the room and replaced it with modern All Seasons furniture. It was basic but modern, good enough to stay for a few days.

The 2nd was in Paris (République?). This was an old Ibis, and they hadn't even bothered replacing the furniture. I just need a place for one night, but I would not have liked staying in this one for a longer stay - way too depressing.

From other All Season hotels that I have seen (but not stayed at), I think they generally are hotels other brands that have been renamed. So I think you should try to find out what this hotel was previously, it might give a good indication on what it's like now.

Is it just me or is putting all seasons and Grand Hotel together slightly strange?

I seems that the hotel was previously called just that: Le Grand Hôtel. From this article (http://www.nordeclair.fr/Actualite/2011/02/01/le-grand-hotel-de-roubaix-renait-de-ses.shtml) (in French) I understand that the place was completely renovated last year.

But I have just looked at some pictures and it's really confusing. Why would they make this place part of the All Seasons brand rather than Mercure (or MGallery) for instance? It really seems to have a "Grand Hotel" atmosphere to it. It's a shame to use this for something which is basically a bit better than an Etap...
(But I guess it's in line with the general confusion within Accor on where one brand ends and another one begins... :D)

And to the OP: based and what I see now, this looks definitely like one of the better All Seasons hotels out there...

We booked two rooms for this hotel, appealed by the photos, to stay only one night travelling from Paris to Bruges. But at the end we did not stay here and decided to go straight to Bruges where we slept at the novotel. It seems that roubaix is one of the poorest city in France with alot of immigrants living there. I do not know why you want to stay in roubaix, but Youtube roubaix and then see if you really want to stay in this city.
